Assessment of the photosensitizer efficacy after determination of threshold doses initiating erythrocyte hemolysis

Purpose: To find out a technique for determining the effectiveness of porphyrin-type photosensitizers with concentrations which cause hemolysis in erythrocytes (hemolysis threshold). The threshold is found under following conditions: irradiation Soret band standard parameters – power density, exposure dose, time. Material and methods.
